アレックス・モザド 氏
2009年に若干20歳でApplicoを創業したモザド氏は、創業費用をすべて自身のクレジットカードで支払ったという。現在はCEOとしてフォーチュン500企業の経営幹部や役員と直接話し合い、独自プラットフォームの構築やプラットフォーム購入などの支援を進めている。
モザド氏はプラットフォームビジネスモデルが会社を急成長させる入門書として、2016年に「プラットフォーム革命――経済を支配するビジネスモデルはどう機能し、どう作られるのか」を共同執筆した。プラットフォーム活用によるイノベーションの意識を幅広い業種で高めるため、各業界のカンファレンスでスピーカーなどを務めている。
モバイルおよびプラットフォームテクノロジーの専門家として、ブルームバーグ、CNBCやフォックスなどの番組に頻繁に出演し、Inc. Magazine、ウォール・ストリート・ジャーナル誌やニューヨーク・タイムズ誌でもよく取り上げられている。
2011年には、ソフトウェアエンジニアやアプリケーション開発者の声を代表することを目的としているApplication Developers Allianceを共同で立ち上げた。2019年内に、大手ファンドマネージャーとプラットフォームビジネスに限定した上場投資信託をリリースする予定。

As Founding CEO of Applico and an expert on mobile and platform technology, he appears frequently on Bloomberg, CNBC and Fox, and has been profiled in Inc. Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He has co-founded the Application Developers Alliance. Alex is currently working with a leading fund manager to release in 2019 an ETF that invests exclusively in platform businesses.
